GernaderJake is a full time Twitch streamer most known for his contributions to the Destiny community. Jake has been streaming since early 2015, taking what was once a hobby and blossoming it into a career. Although he is most notably a Destiny streamer, Jake has also seen success streaming other games, such as Fortnite, Apex Legends, H1Z1, and even sponsored game activations.
Jake grew up in the Bay Area, California, with his parents Dave and Sharon as well as his older Brother Zack. In High School, he met and fell in love with Kelsey, and the two are now happily married. After graduating from Willamette University in Salem Oregon, Jake began his streaming endeavours and bounced between cities for a few years, from Las Vegas, to Denver, back to the Bay Area before finally settling in a home in Vancouver Washington. This home is where Jake and Kelsey have lived since 2017, with their dogs Ava and Aspen, as well as their cat Ash.
Aside from video games, Jake has always had a passion for exercise, poker, and baseball. In 2012, Jake ran the Portland Marathon, and although he may never run another one, he can still boast those 26.2 miles proudly. In 2018, Jake crossed an item off his bucket list when he competed in the WSOP Main Event. Unfortunately, after a successful day 1, his pocket Aces sent him to the rails on day 2. Regarding his passion for baseball, before Covid-19 plagued the world, Jake and his dad Dave had nearly finished their bucket list activity of visiting every baseball stadium together. With 24 of 30 completed, this goal should become an achievement soon.
